Sasori, also known as Sasori of the Red Sand, he is the grandson of Chiyo and a renegade ninja from the Hidden Sand Village after kidnapping and then killing the Third Kazekage. He served as the main antagonist of Gaara's rescue mission arc.
In the Japanese version, he was played by Takahiro Sakurai and Akiko Yajima when he was a child. In the English dubbed version, he was voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch and Kari Wahlgren when he was a child.
Sasori's childhood
As a child, Sasori was a boy who was always sad and discouraged due to lack of parental love . When his grandmother Chiyo shared her knowledge with him and introduced him to the art of manipulating puppets, he became more joyful. He eventually made puppets resembling his parents, but when he realized that the puppets could not give him the parental love he desired, he became cold , distant, and unforgiving.
This led him to have little regard for human life, and he even confessed that he would feel no sadness if Lady Chiyo died, 💀 as he claimed that his heart had become like his puppet body: without any emotion . Despite his cruelty, Sasori had also demonstrated that he had a very clear-eyed outlook on life, rarely growing by overcoming the obstacles that came his way. He also rarely showed extreme emotions, and even those instances were short-lived.
Sasori was known for his impatience, as he said on multiple occasions that he didn't like people making him wait and vice versa, which was quite ironic since he had an infinite reserve of time thanks to his body. puppet.
Sasori and Deidara
Sasori and Deidara, his partner in Akatsuki , both had different views on the subject of art. This subject came up many times during conversations where everyone presented their vision. Sasori's real appearance
Without his puppet armor, he retained the appearance of a young man with wide brown eyes and short red hair. 👨🏻🦰 As a child, he wore green robes with a pale jacket around them. As an adult, he was mostly seen in Akatsuki attire . When Sasori revealed his true body, which was a puppet with a pair of rotating claws attached to the buttocks, a holder for four scrolls on his back, a stinger in the empty, open abdominal cavity, a compartment in the right chest, and a core in the left, his eyes were wide open in a manic way, yet he looked very calm overall.
On her left thumb was her Akatsuki ring , which bears the kanji for Jewel or Sphere. Sasori also wore teal nail polish. Although he had a Suna headband that was torn off, he was never seen wearing it.
Sasori: the puppet genius
20 years before his introduction in the series, motivated to create works that would last forever, Sasori created a way to convert a human into a puppet body. Sasori used this method on the Third Kazekage in secret as he left the Hidden Sand Village. However, when Orochimaru left Akatsuki, Sasori held a grudge against his former partner who had deserted to the point that Kabuto Yakushi , whom he thought was working for him, spied on Orochimaru. Shortly after, before he teamed up with Orochimaru, he teamed up with Deidara.
Gaara's capture
Accompanying Deidara on his mission to capture Gaara in order to extract Shukaku , Sasori uses his sleeper agents hidden in Suna Village to sow confusion. Once Deidara captures Gaara, Sasori buys his partner time by fighting Kankuro and poisoning him. 🩸 After extracting Shukaku, Sasori and Deidara are given a new task to deal with Team Kakashi and Chiyo. While Deidara takes the others away, Sasori fights Chiyo and Sakura Haruno before the former uses the latter as a puppet to break Hiruko.
Who killed Sasori?
Revealed, Sasori pulls out his trump card, he reveals the secret puppet that was Third Kazekage and uses it to fight his opponents. But Chiyo thwarts his plans by using Sasori's parents' puppets, which she has armed, before the kazekage puppet is destroyed. However, Sasori reveals his most powerful puppet: himself, as he uses his secret justsu: the execution of a hundred puppets. With just one finger, he manages to control 10 puppets. Eventually proving difficult to kill, Sasori is impaled by his parental puppets of his grandmother Chiyo's hand in a hugging motion.👪 Before dying, Sasori informs Sakura of the ranks of his spy Orochimaru and the location and the time when he should meet him. Sasori's puppet body was later taken by Kankuro and modified into a normal puppet.
The Fourth Great Ninja War
Sasori was later revived by Kabuto to aid his replacement, Tobi, during the Fourth Great Ninja War . Although a little annoyed that only living Akatsuki members remained, Sasori enjoyed the benefits of his new immortal body. Assigned to the attack and diversion platoon, Sasori is tasked with disrupting the allied ninja forces. 😈 He is accompanied by several allied Ninjas and some reanimated ninjas like Sai's brother, Shin. The art of the puppeteer
Trained by his formidable grandmother, Chiyo, in the art, Sasori was a master of puppet manipulation and created many puppets. He notably created the three puppets that Kankurō used, and had 298 other puppets in his personal collection. His knowledge and stature on puppets naturally gave Sasori an advantage over other puppet users, especially if his opponents were using puppets they were using that were once his, as seen in his fight against Kankurō .
Skill-wise, Sasori could manipulate puppets with incredible speed and skill, to the point where his finger movements became blurry to Sakura Haruno. 🌸 Very often, Sasori's puppets are equipped with weapons that can fire projectiles from a distance, so Sasori is a professional and enjoys long-distance fights. His mastery was such that every movement, even basic ones, seemed to be a work of art. No ninja can handle puppets like him. Deidara also admitted that Sasori was the strongest ninja of the duo.
Sasori's abilities also gave him the power to defeat and kill the Third Kazekage, who was considered the strongest ninja in Sunagakure history, although Sasori claims to have had some difficulty during this fight.
Brainwashing and poison

Sasori's puppet armor, Hiruko, was the first puppet shown in the series used by Sasori. While inside Hiruko, Sasori had a deeper, raspier voice.
Hiruko was his favorite puppet, so much so that he adorned her for almost his entire tenure with Akatsuki, and made her wear Akatsuki's cape and hat.🧥 Sasori used Hiruko so much that many people seemed having only rarely seen Sasori himself in person, as evidenced by Zetsu and Kabuto's reactions to seeing that Hiruko was not his real body . On the other hand, Orochimaru realized that he was not Sasori, hinting that he had seen Sasori's true face during his time in Akatsuki. During one episode, it was shown that Deidara also saw Sasori's true face while Sasori was tending to Hiruko.
Hiruko's poisonous arsenal
Hiruko had a long tail articulated like a scorpion 🦂 (her name actually meaning "scorpion"), extending from the mouth of what looks like a demon mask at her back. Chiyo thinks that this mask was a cleverly executed and thoughtful new gadget because it fills the puppet's weak point and adds a significant defense. The third Kazekage.
Sasori's favorite human puppet, the Third Kazekage, retained his unique techniques from Kekkei Genkai: iron filings . Sasori also added a system allowing him to fly using propellers, and pipes to each of them. his hands which could spit intense fire 🔥 or powerful jets of very fine water which could cut everything in its path.
Although heavily equipped, Sasori was able to conceal hidden under his Akatsuki jacket, which were large enough to hide them without problem. When using his own body, Sasori had a manic look, with wide-open eyes and a murderous aura. 😡His eyes were always wide open, which gave him a somewhat maniacal appearance. On the other hand, before revealing his puppet body, they were always half-closed, which made him appear calmer. Sasori claimed that he had not used "himself" since he joined Akatsuki, until his last fight against Chiyo and Sakura .
Sasori's Mechanism
A system installed in the right part of his torso could, with a good amount of chakra, allow Sasori to use his Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets . sasori's legacy
