Bandai Namco is not the only development studio to release a Naruto game on Android soon. A new Naruto game is coming to Android and IOS in the form of an open-world MMO, called Naruto: Slugfest. Naruto Slugfest is the first-ever MMORPG coming to mobile phones, 📱 where players can wage war against other ninjas alongside the characters from the anime. It is currently planned for summer 2020! It is already possible to pre-register!

The different characters of Slugfest
It doesn't look like Naruto Slugfest leaves the option to play as Naruto or one of the official shinobi. At least, not entirely. The trailer shows that you will have four different classes to choose from! You will have the choice to play as: an assassin with the power of lightning, ⚡ a healer 💊using the power of fire which strangely resembles a mix between Ino and Sakura , a guardian using the power of the earth or a shooter using the power of the wind! 🌪️
However, you will have the possibility of joining several shinobi from the Naruto universe with the help of the partner and Mercenary system. ⛩️ These will allow you to reverse the outcome of a fight. The different Jutsu on the big screen, the dynamic fights as well as the button spamming like a good old Streetfighter should greatly please all fans of this license.
Naruto Slugfest Story
The story also follows the Shippuden arcs , so it begins when Naruto returns to Konoha Village after years of training with Jiraiya . 🐸 Battles will take place in real-time with a fully 3D camera view and you will be able to fight with iconic ninjas at your side. So it seems like this is where characters like Naruto , Sasuke, and Sakura will come into play.
Naruto Slugfest: Gameplay
Naruto: Slugfest will also feature PvP and PvE games. With large-scale fights and outdoor fights. It will be a free game, so there will be micro transactions. 💶 As of now, it's unclear whether they'll be minimal or aggressive enough to make the game feel like it's paying.
