Naruto: Baryon Mode, Final Form

As we know, the next chapters of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will now be written by Masashi Kishimoto and no longer by Ukyo Kodachi. And this passing of the torch 🔥 took place from volume 14 of the series, and more precisely in chapter 52 which is entitled Boruto - Naruto next generations - Chapter 52: Baryon Mode . What is Naruto's final form?

Being the third jinchûriki of the Kyûbi, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox , Naruto Uzumaki can take different forms which were gradually revealed in the series. We can notably cite the initial transformation of the jinchûriki, the partial transformation, the complete form, the Kyûbi Chakra Mode and the Kurama Mode. On the other hand, none of these different forms was the final form that Kurama's jinchūriki could access. And it is in this chapter 52 of Boruto - Naruto Next Generations that this final form was revealed to us as Baryon Mode, a new transformation which is unique and much more powerful than anything we have known so far. Indeed, with the appearance of Isshiki Otsutsuki, a new antagonist even stronger than all those he has fought so far, Naruto saw himself pushed to the extreme during their confrontation. Even though he was in Kurama Mode, a complete version of the Nine-Tails' Chakra Mode and he was helped by Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto was soundly beaten. 🧶 While the fight seemed completely lost, the Nine-Tails revealed to Naruto that he still had the possibility of using an ultimate technique, Baryon Mode. The power of this technique is such that it carries an extreme risk of death for Naruto.

Baryon Mode Appearance

It has been seen that, when Naruto Uzumaki transforms into Baryon Mode , his hair stands up and strands form on both sides of his head as if they were fox ears. Additionally, the markings that form his whiskers become much thicker as the top two (left and right) curl under and to the side of his eyes. 👀 Note also that the contours of his eyes darken while stretching towards his locks of hair in the shape of fox ears. The color of his eyes becomes red like Kurama's. The transformation is not only physical, but also sartorial. Indeed, Naruto's clothes take on orange coloring and, on the front of his cape, at the center of his chest, we can see a black swirl forming which is surrounded by six lines. We can also see four orange chakra tails appear on the back of his cape while the end of his cape has five other chakra tails 🕉️ (which makes a total of nine tails). Each of its tails has a black line in the center that connects to the middle of the cape like a swirl.

How does Naruto's new Baryon mode work?

You should know that the term baryon refers in physics to a group of composite or subatomic particles which is made up of three quarks (elementary particle). The best-known particles include the neutron and the proton. Thus, this new Baryon mode of Naruto is a process which is close to that of nuclear fusion. ☣️ Kurama explains that it is similar to the way the sun produces energy (nuclear reactions occurring in its core using hydrogen molecules).

During this process, Naruto's chakra and Kurama's chakra serve as raw materials that are consumed for the production of an entirely new type of chakra, or more accurately, a massive amount of energy. This new energy produced differs from that of Kurama Mode in that Naruto and Nine-Tails use their own chakra instead of trying to use external chakra. Thus, this new form of Naruto can be compared to the way in which a nuclear bomb is detonated, strictly speaking using the energy deployed by the fission of heavy atomic nuclei.

What is Baryon mode worth?

When he is in Baryon mode, Naruto Uzumaki sees his chakra increase in an extraordinary way to the point of astonishing those who see it with their own eyes. Why is Baryon mode so strong?

According to Kurama's explanations, Naruto had Baryon mode from the beginning.
