But unfortunately, it will become complicated for two reasons: a special friendship and whether humanity deserves to be protected.
Akira by KATSUHIRO OTOMO
Most fans are familiar with this now fundamental anime. However, as in many film adaptations, the film condenses several thousand pages and this erases many nuances. This manga details the conflict between biker gang leader Kaneda and his friend who has unstable telekinesis, Tetsuo . Hajime no Ippo by George Morikawa
Makunouchi Ippo has been bullied all his life. One day, in the midst of a new attack, Ippo finds himself saved by Takamura Mamoru , a boxer. But Ippo still loses consciousness due to the blows and Takamura then takes him to a boxing gym 🥊.
When he wakes up, Ippo is surprised and fascinated by the new environment surrounding him. To try to make him aware of the situation, Takamura then puts a photo of one of the people bullying him on a punching bag so that he can punch it and imagine himself hitting the person. As soon as Ippo starts hitting, he quickly realizes that he has awakened something by forcing him to hit harder. He will then express his desire to learn how to box to Takumara. But he is perplexed and thinks it will be difficult for Ippo. He then gives him a complicated task and gives him a week, no more, to accomplish it. Thus begins Ippo's journey to the top of the boxing world.

Despite the importance of historical samurai manga like Lone Wolf and Cub and Lady Snowblood , this type of manga fell out of fashion in the manga community for almost two decades. But the situation changed during the 1990s thanks to samurai manga books. Blade of the Immortal takes up the genre by mixing visuals, traditions, samurai culture with modern speech patterns. The result is a magnificent manga, with violence, centered on the quest of a girl wanting to avenge her parents who died in a hurry ☠️, killed by a dangerous man.
Vagabond by TAKEHITO INOUE
Although the author of Vagabond is famous for his sports-related manga, Inoue wanted to make this one a kind of adventure through the world of samurai. It is based on the fictional life of Miyamoto Musashi , the famous author of " The Books of the Five Rings " 📚. The story begins in 1600 where a horrible massacre took place during the Battle of Sekigahara. Among the warriors is Musashi , the son of a powerful samurai, who is not ready to die.

It's only natural that I chose Monster because it challenges the idea that all manga involves superpowers, supernatural beings or the apocalypse. Additionally, the story follows a brilliant neurosurgeon 🧠 who is offered the opportunity to make a choice between two individuals who need to be saved. He makes the choice to save a child who will, in the future, be a major serial killer.
KOHSKE gangsta
This urban crime drama, which has speculative elements, follows a pair of jack-of-all-trades, from drug dealing to score-settling. The city in which they work, however, is the scene of discord among the gangs as well as among the people and veterans from old wars. And as one might suspect, this conflict does not take long to degenerate and have tragic and explosive consequences 💥.
I am A Hero by KENGO HANAZAWA
You can't review Japanese manga without having seen at least one apocalyptic zombie version 🧟♂️. Here, a Mangaka assistant (as they are called in the industry) leads an ordinary life by putting himself as a fictional character, very present and a real moral support in his story. But when a strange disease transforming people into zombies spreads on the horizon, he sees his mediocre life take another turn. He now has no choice but to take his destiny into his own hands and do what he can to avoid dying.
Tokyo Ghoul by SUI ISHIDA
Tokyo Ghoul and its sequel Tokyo Ghoul: re, take manga readers on a dark and Machiavellian journey. The story follows student Ken Kaneki , who gets a romantic date with a beautiful woman 👱🏼♀️ but she is not who she claims to be. She ends up revealing his true nature as a Ghoul, and traps him in an accident. But this is not without consequences: Ken has become a monster himself.

Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotôge
Based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotōge which has been published in the weekly Shōnen Jump since 2016, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime captivated viewers when it debuted in April 2019. Following the Adventures of Tanjiro Kamado in a world full of demons, Kimetsu no Yaiba and its universe, which is inspired by Japanese culture during the Taishō era, has a lot to offer.
