The first few seasons of One Punch Man introduced a multitude of heroes in a short period of time. So we made a list of the strongest heroes.🏅
The Hero Association ranks these characters at the highest level, S Rank. We'll look at the top 10 heroes and what's been revealed about them in the anime series so far and talk about the other ranks.
Hero #10: God of Gluttons
We haven't seen much of what the God of Gluttons can do, but we know he eats a lot. 🍔 From the moment he appeared at the S-class hero meeting, he was always shown eating burgers and fries. He has never been seen without food in his mouth. When the city was invaded and all the other heroes took action, the God of Gluttons was nowhere to be found , despite his presence during the first attacks.
Hero #9: Mecavalier
So far, none of the Mechanical Knight's combat abilities have been revealed in the One-Punch Man anime, but his robotic appearance suggests possible cybernetic enhancements.🤖 This hero spoke to Genos and warned him about to be wary of the hero Knight and his less than honorable intentions, which we have yet to fully understand.
Mecavalier seemed unfazed by the level of destruction the city saw at the hands of alien invaders. Once other heroes had joined the battle, this knight casually asked, "Can I go home? I have errands to run."
Hero #8: Zombieman
Contrary to what his name suggests,
Zombieman's appearance is not that of a conventional
zombie 🧟♂️, but rather the opposite! Unlike conventional zombies, he is articulate and feels disgust for others, namely the God of Gluttons and his constant feeding. He has yet to reveal the extent of his fighting abilities or anything about his personal history.
Hero #7: King
King is well respected among the other heroes, who have nicknamed him "the strongest man on Earth" . However, he seems to give up quite easily when faced with difficult situations. When the city was attacked by a giant alien spaceship, he observed it and simply said, "There's nothing I can do." He gave up the fight before it even started.
In reality, King is just a charade, he is a normal human who doesn't know how to fight. He maintains his reputation by collecting
Saitama 's victories.🏆 It's the very definition of being in the right place at the right time.
Hero #6: Bofoy – Metal Knight
Another robotic hero, Bofoy seems to operate independently from the rest of the team, given that he ignored an important summons to a hero meeting. The Metal Knight first appeared in the series after the final fight was over and the city was saved 🏙 and even then it was only for the purpose of saving the technology the enemy had left behind.
His reasoning? “Powerful weapons are a necessity for peace.”
We know nothing about his real appearance, he acts via robots that he controls remotely. During an attack, he refused to help Genos, but shot a meteor to test these new weapons. He rebuilt City A in 10 days with the help of his robots.
Hero #5: Little Emperor
The Little Emperor is a lively young boy who demonstrates a high level of intelligence.👦🏻 He is equipped with a small backpack equipped with four mechanical legs that can support him. Although he did not participate in any physical combat in the first season, he appears alongside other heroes to examine enemies when they appear to invade Earth, but never gets his hands dirty.
Hero #4: Atomic Samurai
Hair bun? Checked. Haori? Ready. Samurai swords? ⚔ Ready. The haughty 37-year-old Atomic Samurai is a fast and powerful fighter , repeatedly demonstrating his ability to cut enemies into small pieces in seconds. Despite his great power, he also shows a stern but caring side towards his disciple, laian.
Hero #3: Bang
Famous master of martial arts, the 81-year-old Silver Fang 🐺 runs a dojo where he teaches his students the art of self-defense. Also known as Bang , his fighting style requires him to get close to his opponents, where he can deliver powerful punches and kicks.
It seems old age hasn't slowed this man down at all 👴🏻, he recovered quickly after being thrown through several thick walls and into rubble at high speeds during the
battle with Melzalgald . In addition, this character is terribly powerful and intelligent.
Charanko is his only disciple. Before him, his dojo was full of disciples before one of them, Garou, became terribly angry and eliminated everyone. After killing many of the Hero Academy's enemies, Garou received a life lesson from his former master.
Hero #2: Tatsumaki
Don't let her childish appearance fool you: Tatsumaki is a 28-year-old woman who possesses incredible psychic powers. 🧙🏻♀️ Also known as Tornado of Terror , she has been shown summoning giant meteors with ease and using her mind to lift large masses of rubble to throw her enemies. She even possesses the ability to fly.🪁 She seems to have a preference for facing enemies herself, telling other heroes to get out of the way.
During the fight against the alien ship and Melazgard, she returns
numerous enemy
shells to the sender. After that,
Tatsumaki used the surrounding debris to destroy the ship. At the S-class hero meeting, she was indignant to see Saitama in the room because he is only a B-class hero.
Hero #1: Blast
Not much is known about the top-ranked hero,
Blast , except that he only shows up when the situation is absolutely dire and humanity is in peril. 🦸♂️ Being ranked number one would make him
the most powerful of all heroes . 18 years before the story begins, he saved Tatsumaki from a monster.
Honorable Mention
Genos:
Genos is the second character of One-Punch Man. He is a 19-year-old cyborg and Saitama's disciple . He aims to become ever more powerful and fights for justice. He is given the name Demon Cyborg by the Heroes Association 🦸♂️ and is currently 14th in Class S.
Genos is a medium-sized mechanical cyborg . His face resembles that of a normal human, made of artificial skin, and his eyes have black sclerosis with yellow irises. He has blond hair and his eyebrows are blond (brown in the anime). He also has pierced ears.
Genos' wardrobe consists of normal street clothes with all of his upper body clothing sleeveless to allow his arms to transform and take out the heavy artillery without hassle. 🦾 He has been shown to possess many different weapons, with different abilities and strengths. Notable examples of his different "arms" are the ones he used in his fight against Saitama and the weapons he equipped to fight the meteor
Sometimes the sets of arms he uses create a metal frame around his face, such as when using Weapons mode and in hisMonster Association arc upgrade .
Saitama
Saitama is the main protagonist of the One Punch Man manga and the most powerful being in the series. Saitama faces an existential crisis, as he is now too powerful to feel any thrill in battle.
Initially just a hero for fun, Saitama later signs up to be a professional hero for the Heroes Association and defends his home in Z-City from monsters, villains, and other threats. Under the hero association, he is assigned as the Bald-Caped hero and is currently ranked 7 in Class B.
One Punch Man Clothing
Saitama's hero costume consists of a yellow one-piece jumpsuit with a short zipper at the collar and a black belt with a round golden buckle at its center. He wears red gloves 👢 that go 3/4 of the way up his forearms and red boots that almost reach his knees. His costume is completed by a white cape , which is attached to his shoulders with round buttons.
Saitama has several shirts and hoodies with different designs, the most famous being his oppai sweatshirt.
